SUPPLYING FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE SUPPLY OF RIGHT  PRODUCTS IN THE RIGHT STANDARD AND RIGHT QUANTITY AND AT THE RIGHT PRICE AND TIME TO THE RIGHT END-USER. IN ORDER TO PERFORM ALL  SUCH FUNCTIONS WHAT WE NEED ARE–

1. WAREHOUSING : FOR THE PERPETUAL SUCCESS OF BUSINESS WAREHOUSING IS VERY ESSENTIAL AND SUCH WAREHOUSING MEETS THE TIME UTILITY OF THE PRODUCTS. IN OTHER WORDS THE TIME UTILITY OF PRODUCTS COULD BE CREATED THROUGH WAREHOUSING OF PRODUCTS.

2  TRANSPORT : TRANSPORT IS THE PROCESS OF CARRYING GOODS FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER AT THE RIGHT TIME AND HENCE IT HELPS TO CREATE PLACE UTILITY AND TIME UTILITY . THEREFORE  THE IMPORTANCE OF TRANSPORT IN MARKETING IS OF VERY BIG DIMENSIONS . IT HELPS TO CARRY RAW MATERIALS AND OTHERS SPARE AND EQUIPMENT FROM THE DIFFERENT SOURCES TO THE PRODUCTION PLACE AND AFTER THE PRODUCTION ARE MANUFACTURED IT HELPS TO CARRY THE PRODUCTS FROM THE MANUFACTURERS TO THE CONSUMERS.

3  DISTRIBUTION: DISTRIBUTION IS THE PROCESS OF MOVING GOODS FROM THE MANUFACTURERS TO THE WHOLESALES TO THE RETAILERS AND FINALLY TO THE CONSUMERS. THE MOVEMENT OF SUCH PRODUCTS FROM PLACE TO PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME ARE MATTERS TO BE DECIDED BY THE MARKETERS . THE PRODUCTS UTILITY , PLACE UTILITY AND TIME UTILITY ARE THE HEADACHE OF THE MARKETERS ENGAGED IN THE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM.
